Croatian Cycling Federation was founded in 1894 in Zagreb. Member of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) since July 24, 1992 and the Union Europeenne de Cyclisme (UEC) since September 18, 1992.

Montpellier, 7 June 2021 - Croatia's top freestyle cyclist Marin Ranteš won a bronze medal in Men’s Freestyle BMX at the UCI Urban Cycling World Championships in Montpellier, France. With this venture, the young Varaždin native entered the history of Croatian cycling because he achieved the greatest success of a Croatian cyclist at such a large competition.
