Zurich, 8 September 2022 - Croatia's top athlete Sandra Perković finished second in Discus Throw in the Diamond League finals in Zurich. In Zurich, reigning European and world champion Perković scored 67.31m, 46cm short of her main rival, Tokyo Olympic Champion Valarie Allman of America.

Munich, 16 August 2022 - Croatia's "Athletics queen" is back on the throne! Sandra Perković won the title of the European Discus Throw Champion for the sixth time in a row. Croatia's top athlete beat silver Germany's Kristin Pudenz by eight centimetres in the dramatic finals of the European Athletics Championships in Munich.

By winning silver in Marathon at the European Championships in Munich, she brought Croatia the first Marathon medal from major competitions. -

Filip Mihaljević wins European indoor bronze
Zagreb, 6 March 2021 - After 27 years, a medal from the European Indoor Championships came to Croatia. With a shot of 21.31 meters, the Croatian shot putter and evident Tokyo Summer Olympics candidate Filip Mihaljević won a bronze medal at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Toruń (Poland). -
Blanka Vlašić ended her active career
Split/Zagreb, 19 February 2021 - One of the greatest Croatian athletes of all time, Blanka Vlašić, announced the decision to officially end her active athletic career. In addition to numerous world and European trophies and sports recognitions, Blanka’s rich collection includes two Olympic medals - silver from Beijing 2008 and bronze from Rio 2016. -
Matea Parlov Koštro run the marathon and met the Olympic norm for Tokyo
Valencia, 6 December 2020 - Croatian marathon runner Matea Parlov Koštro, 27, met the Olympic norm for next year's Tokyo Olympics, after running a marathon in Valencia in 2:28.52 on Sunday, achieving thus also her personal best. Parlov Koštro, 27, “went after” the norm of 2:29:30, and also improved her personal best of 2:32.43, which she ran in February last year in Seville. -
